Fees & payment

At Green Leaf Counseling & Coaching, our mission is to support clients in achieving meaningful, positive changes through therapy and related services. While each individual’s goals may differ, common outcomes include enhanced mental well-being, increased self-awareness, improved coping strategies, and stronger relationships. Our ultimate aim is to empower clients to lead more fulfilling lives.

Fees

Each therapy or coaching “one hour” session is in actuality 50 minutes long, allowing our professionals time to prepare for subsequent appointments.

To ensure accessibility and affordability, our fees operate on a sliding scale based on household income.

Fees for services such as coaching, consulting, clergy coaching, presentations, and workshops are determined individually. Extended sessions are available and billed in additional 30-minute increments.

Self-pay sliding scale fees

These rates apply to clients not using insurance and are based on household income.

Payment

Cash, check, or credit cards are accepted at the beginning of each therapy session. Flexible spending, health savings accounts, and other similar plans are also accepted.

Insurance

For eligible carriers and services, clients will only be responsible for their insurance copay at the time of the session. Note: Most insurance plans do not cover couples or family therapy, as these services are typically considered non-medically necessary under insurance guidelines. Coverage is generally limited to sessions focused on the treatment of a diagnosed mental health condition for one individual.

If Green Leaf is not in-network with your plan, we’re happy to provide a superbill—a detailed receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

We are also committed to making therapy accessible. If you have concerns about affording services, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we may be able to help.
